Over 34 years of laboratory industry experience in various environments; hospitals, reference lab and Physician Office Laboratories (POL's) including 8 years of experience working as a Technical Consultant over moderate laboratories and POCT for a large University Health System with over 40 POL's. Helped them grow from 20 to over 40 in the 8 years. Responsible for training and supervising Lab Scientist, Phlebotomist, Medical Assistants, Rad Techs and Nurses and meeting with Laboratory Directors and Medical Directors to keep them updated on laboratory regulations. Was in charge of laboratory compliance and the point of contact and person in charge to be at every survey at all 40 plus labs with COLA, TJC and CLIA. Years of High Complexity testing and qualify as a Technical Supervisor in the specialties of Immunology, Chemistry, Hematology, Bacteriology plus Molecular testing. 10 years as a full-time Surveyor for a top Accrediting Organization; surveyed in 14 different states and Bermuda. I'm looking forward to consulting, teaching, training and mentoring in laboratory regulations. Experience with CLIA, CAP, TJC and COLA.
