Laura is a board certified high complexity CLIA Director with over 20 years of laboratory experience with nine of those as a high complexity CLIA Director and consultant for a large State Public Health Laboratory. Laura has a PhD in Veterinary Pathobiology specializing in toxicology and a Master’s in biochemistry. She is board certified as a Toxicological Chemist through NRCC. Laura is not only experienced in regulatory compliance with CLIA but also with ISO:17025, the American Industrial Hygiene Association (AIHA), EPA, FDA and the CDC Select Agent (SA) Program. Laura is adept in developing and implementing a quality management system from the ground up at a high complexity laboratory with multiple testing disciplines across varying regulatory compliance requirements to improve efficiencies and compliance. She also has extensive laboratory management and public health administration experience.
