Our client is a stealth-mode startup in New York, focused on developing prognostic and therapeutic epigenetic biomarkers for cancer patients.
They’re seeking a CLIA Lab Consultant with Moderate Complexity (MOD DX) Certification to establish and direct a CLIA-certified laboratory. This individual must have both the certification and experience standing up, directing, and managing a lab in compliance with CLIA and New York State Department of Health (NYSDOH) regulations.
Lab Details:
1,200 sq. ft. pre- and post-PCR lab
Focused on creating assays
Role Details:
CLIA & NYSDOH Compliance: Secure and maintain CLIA certification for moderate complexity testing.
Lab Establishment: Oversee the setup of the lab, ensuring regulatory and operational readiness.
Inspections & Audits: Prepare for and lead regulatory inspections and maintain compliance documentation.
Logistics:
Onsite work 75% of the time (New York)
Expenses covered (travel, hotels, etc.)
6-12 Month Project
